Aluminum chloride, the main component of the Capramin material, greatly enhances the centimonium bromide contained in the drug, which has bactericidal properties. The material is non-toxic, easy to use, does not cause discoloration of gum and dental tissues, and is easily washed off with a stream of water.
 
Purpose:
It is used as a hemostatic agent for capillary bleeding from the gums, for the treatment of dental sockets and after direct taking of impressions, for gum retraction, when removing stones, as well as for the treatment of root canals in case of bleeding from the canal.
